Yes. Buffalo horn is a strong, naturally resilient material that has been used in eyewear and tools for centuries. With basic care, horn frames are designed to last for years and can be maintained over time.

Our frames are made from water buffalo horn - the same animal used widely in leather goods, including our shoe outsoles. The horn is a natural byproduct of the food and leather industries and would otherwise go to waste.
We believe in using the whole animal, minimizing waste, and choosing natural materials over petroleum-based synthetics. For us, honoring the full animal is far better than synthetic pollutants.

Our frames are designed to fit nearly everybody. Some styles are larger or smaller, with exact measurements listed on each product page to help you choose confidently. For blue blockers, "too big" can be perfect for more eye coverage. We offer one free US exchange if a different frame design is preferred. Returns are possible within 30 days for unused items.

They arrived in Spain, but when they got to my house, I had to pay an extra €20 (on top of the hefty international shipping costs) for customs. The shoes themselves are beautiful. It's true that they run small. I ordered almost two sizes up. The copper pin is great, but it digs in a bit, and if you're completely barefoot, it's a little uncomfortable because it doesn't sit perfectly flat on the sole. In terms of width and the barefoot concept, I wish they were a bit wider. They're quite snug. 7.5/10
