What is the natural rubber sole made from?
The natural crepe rubber sole is made from rubber-tree latex. Its flexible feel lets the sole bend with your foot, while its grippy surface helps with everyday traction. The insole is vegetable-tanned leather.
How does the copper grounding plug work?
The copper plug runs through the sole, providing a conductive path between your foot and a conductive surface such as soil or grass. Contact with the ground matters; insulating surfaces interrupt that path.
Will the leather change color?
Yes. The vegetable-tanned leather is undyed and develops a deeper tone with sunlight and wear. The sun-tanned finish has already been darkened by the sun; both finishes continue to develop their own patina.
How do I care for my pair?
Brush away dry dirt gently and let the pair air dry away from direct heat. Avoid soaking or machine washing. Use care products suited to the leather finish; smooth-leather conditioners can change the look of suede or nubuck.
Keep the natural rubber outsole away from solvents and excessive heat.

So I am on day five of awareness I think in the pros they fit really good. I have incredibly wide feet. It makes it almost impossible to wear normal shoes and these actually work quite well. They're snug. I feel like I could actually run in these if I had to as far as the grounding goes it seems like it's a copper rivet. That's what it seemed like to me so that's interesting but aside from that component they're super comfortable my biggest complaint and my only complaint at this point is they are literally maybe a half inch of material between a foot in the ground which is fine except even in the lightest drain my sandal is getting enveloped in water but aside from that pretty happy with a purchase overall curious about the copper technique, but I think I would probably buy a similar product again from these guys. It was a custom order and I think from start to finish it got to me in under two weeks.

I wear a size 15 and the sandals are poorly made. The toe thongs are placed to low on the sandals which cause my heels to hang off the sandals. I’ve contacted [****] several times with no response.

They are already forming to my feet breaking them in was really easy.If I walk a lot the copper nail bothers me a little but it also reminds me that I'm being grounded to the earth and then I smile!

My wife + I purchased matching sets of the original RANA sandal, and have worn them almost daily ever since. When we became aware of the new RANA II release, we knew we'd have to make the upgrade to compare. And wow, oh wow. I am happy to report that they're a total hit from end to end! These new updates are PROFOUNDLY good. The RHIZAL crew has effectively eliminated EVERY minor challenge that our first pair presented. This new update now requires ZERO break-in time (they're SUPER soft + perfect right away!), and the addition of true grip is such a wonderful relief (compared to our pairs which were quite slippery)! I am particularly impressed with how thin + minimal they have managed to keep the sole in spite of the material addition - they're superb. didn't realize it takes so long... after one month of waiting i finally received them, but they don't stay straight on my foot but tend to turn inwards... hard to walk and fall off easily... no arch support... after one hour my feet started hurting...

The break-in period was mildly uncomfortable, but after a couple of days they really started to shine. They are now quite comfortable, hugging my feet like a second skin. I love feeling the connection to the ground (and of course being electrically grounded!). They handled several long walks with ease. The cut is quite close which makes driving in them quite doable. Perfect at the poolside, and in the sauna, too!I'm hoping these hold up for a long time; these will be my everyday footwear this summer!

These appear to be made very well and the company has excellent service, but these have a very unusual fit. The placement of the toe is quite low requiring me to size up two sizes. Even at this size change, the shape odd and not shaped at all like my foot. Fortunately, their return policy is good.

Update: Disappointed, these flip flops broke after 3 months of occasional use. The toe strap broke right at the seam where it was attached to the cross piece. Tore right on the “dotted line”. May want to consider altering the design slightly. (Dec 21, 2024)

Favorite flip flops, barefoot without the pain of feeling sharp rocks or bumps through the insole. Only problem is that the bottom leather tears easily. Mine only lasted 2 months, but I walk & hike a lot in them. I just tore the bottom pieces off & hammered the copper flat, it's still pretty comfortable. It could be better though. Would be better with more rivets placed according to the different energy channels / meridians in the feet. Should upgrade their shoes to be more reflective of the knowledge built by acupuncturist. Plus, is there a way to make the bottoms more durable? Maybe change the material and rely more on the rivets for grounding? What ev, will just make my own eventually if I can't find one that I deem good enough

The flip flops are good - getting broken in. I have sent 3 emails on the sherpas - sized 11 - they are too different - expect some variation, but these are too varies - one has long hair the other short. I know size 11 was out of stock a few weeks ago. I am happy to wait but would appreciate a response so I can return the ones that don’t match.
