I wear a size 15 and the sandals are poorly made. The toe thongs are placed to low on the sandals which cause my heels to hang off the sandals. I’ve contacted [****] several times with no response.

They are already forming to my feet breaking them in was really easy.If I walk a lot the copper nail bothers me a little but it also reminds me that I'm being grounded to the earth and then I smile!

Hooray, these arrived the day before vacation, a trip that involved a lot of leisurely walking. They were very stiff at first, of course. The break-in period was mildly uncomfortable, but after a couple of days they really started to shine. They are now quite comfortable, hugging my feet like a second skin. I love feeling the connection to the ground (and of course being electrically grounded!). They handled several long walks with ease. The cut is quite close which makes driving in them quite doable. Perfect at the poolside, and in the sauna, too!I'm hoping these hold up for a long time; these will be my everyday footwear this summer!

These appear to be made very well and the company has excellent service, but these have a very unusual fit. The placement of the toe is quite low requiring me to size up two sizes. Even at this size change, the shape odd and not shaped at all like my foot. Fortunately, their return policy is good.

Update: Disappointed, these flip flops broke after 3 months of occasional use. The toe strap broke right at the seam where it was attached to the cross piece. Tore right on the “dotted line”. May want to consider altering the design slightly. (Dec 21, 2024)

Favorite flip flops, barefoot without the pain of feeling sharp rocks or bumps through the insole. Only problem is that the bottom leather tears easily. Mine only lasted 2 months, but I walk & hike a lot in them. I just tore the bottom pieces off & hammered the copper flat, it's still pretty comfortable. It could be better though. Would be better with more rivets placed according to the different energy channels / meridians in the feet. Should upgrade their shoes to be more reflective of the knowledge built by acupuncturist. Plus, is there a way to make the bottoms more durable? Maybe change the material and rely more on the rivets for grounding? What ev, will just make my own eventually if I can't find one that I deem good enough

The flip flops are good - getting broken in. I have sent 3 emails on the sherpas - sized 11 - they are too different - expect some variation, but these are too varies - one has long hair the other short. I know size 11 was out of stock a few weeks ago. I am happy to wait but would appreciate a response so I can return the ones that don’t match.

This has been a great sandal. It took me WEEKS to break in the sandal so that it is no longer painful to wear. It feels very comfortable now. It's 4 stars because the sizing is very different form your actual shoe size. But thank you for the quality materials and incredible customer service!

Thank you for excellent customer service to get a much needed size up (maybe 1.5 sizes bigger would be the most accurate for some). Still breaking these (15s) in because the buffalo leather is tough. The first size (14) was too tight to comfortably have my front foot in for the first two minutes, the 15’s feel much better.

Okay, so I've found the perfect flip flop.I'd searched for about a month and looked at EVERYTHING out there for a classic leather flip flop. I'd always liked the idea of a grounded flip flop, but didn't like the ones with the laces around the ankles, etc. I looked at all the Hawaiian ones - but they were too big/bulky/over-designed. I just wanted a classic-looking leather flip flop.And then I found Rhizal! I've had them for about 3 weeks now, and here's the verdict:1) They are minimally-branded (I hate logos everywhere) and look great. My wife loves them on me.2) They were a little tight at first. But I'd read the site (and have a little common sense, too) in that they would loosen up a little bit around the top support. And they did - perfectly.3) I love the fact that there's more tactile function in the way that I walk. It's hard to describe....So there you go. Looks great, feels great, and hey - grounded! Just get them and don't look back.

These are really well made and comfortable for me (someone who loves minimal shoes and sandals). It would be 5 stars but the claim is they are a wide toe area and that’s not really the case. The toe could be a bit wider to accommodate a natural splayed foot. Like other similar sandals.
